Upcoming seminars - Intro to Scholarly Publishing & Intro to Knowledge Mobilization
Have you ever wondered what scholarly publishing is all about? This seminar will introduce what an academic journal is, what the purpose of publishing is, and give you an overview of the academic publishing landscape. We will explain how to select the right journal for your work, and how to watch out for journals that are not suitable. The peer review process will also be explored, as well as the different models of peer review.

Intro to knowledge mobilization (seminar)
Research exists to inform and guide organizations, people, and government to improve society, programming, and policy. In this interactive session, we will discuss the importance of disseminating research findings outside of academia and work together to develop a knowledge mobilization plan for a research project.
